Saturday on the Zeedijk. The bar is small, it gets busy, and there's one microphone that keeps moving. If you're not holding it, you're still singing along. That's just how it goes here. Come on your own, bring a group, or walk in with a few colleagues. No separate rooms, no closed-off corners — just one bar where everyone sings.

Since 1946
Casablanca opened in 1946 on the Zeedijk. As a jazz club. One of the few places in post-war Amsterdam where everyone danced together, regardless of background. Musicians like Kid Dynamite tore the house down here.
In the nineties, karaoke arrived. It stayed. Since then we've been open Wednesday through Saturday for singers, whisperers, and everyone in between. One bar. Everyone sings along.
